My Day
Back into classrooms today. It’s been awhile. We were trying to put photos of the class trip to Raglan into Photostory so we could record their thoughts and ideas about their day out. It was a bigger undertaking than we thought. Had problems with the data projector then we couldn’t import the photos. We achieved the title page and they all helped record it. They were hooked and wanted more. Hope I can get back in their next week to work on it some more. After interval, I had 19 5 year olds in the computer suite using Kidpix. For one little boy it was his first day at school and first turn on a computer. He soon had the hang of the mouse and was drawing along with the others. We modeled lots of crabs for them to draw and let them loose and soon collected a wonderful collection of their drawings of crabs at Raglan. We printed them out ready to display on the wall in the suite for everyone to see. Must take my camera next time.
